2017-2018 Capital Repair Projects
In May 2017, the Provincial Government announced nine HRCE schools would receive upgrades, repairs, and improvements as part of their capital repairs program. These projects are valued between $150,000 - $1 million.

In December 2018, the Provincial Government provided additional funding for the capital repairs program. New projects include:
- Atlantic Memorial-Terence Bay Elementary (Terence Bay site)
- Georges P. Vanier Junior High
- Harry R. Hamilton Elementary
- Oxford School
- Sir Charles Tupper Elementary
