Eastern Shore District High Renovations
2019-2020
Funding has been allocated to eliminate the need for bottled water on the site and better manage storm water.

2017-2018
In May 2017, the provincial Department of Education and Early Childhood Development informed the Halifax Regional School Board that additional funding would be provided to continue with renovations at Eastern Shore District High School. The HRSB will use these funds to:
- Finish the parking lot reconstruction;
- Replace the onsite potable water supply system;
- Complete renovations to the front entrance and administration areas; and
- Improve accessibility by upgrading the lift used by individuals with mobility challenges.

2016-2017
On June 3, 2016, it was announced by the provincial Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, that additional funding would be provided to continue with renovations at Eastern Shore District High. The HRSB will use these funds to continue with the fencing of the field, repairs to the basketball courts, as well as undertake a water quality study

2015-2016
The provincial government announced a renovation project for Eastern Shore District High School on May 14, 2015. The renovation will include:
- Reconfiguring the front entrance and administration area;
- Upgrading the gym floor and some program spaces; and
- Reconfiguring/repaving the driveway to improve traffic flow.
