Joseph Howe Elementary Renovations

2023-2024

In the summer of 2023, a portable will be placed at Joseph Howe Elementary to support enrolment growth.

2022-2023

During the 2022-2023 fiscal year, repairs will be made to the Pre-Primary to Grade 2 playground.

2021-2022

During the 2021-2022 fiscal year, the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system in the washroom area will be upgraded.

2019-2020

In June 2019, the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) advised the school community funding had been secured to upgrade the mechanical systems in the school.

2018-2019

In May 2018, the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) was advised it would be receiving funds to complete upgrades to Joseph Howe Elementary School. The funding will be used to replace the school’s boiler.
