HRSB Plan for Postal Disruption

In the event there is a postal disruption with Canada Post, the Halifax Regional School Board will implement the following contingency plan:

Where possible, all correspondence will be done by email. If documents require an original signature, scanned copies of original signatures will be accepted for now and the original can be sent in the mail once the dispute is resolved. If there is correspondence that cannot be sent by email, HRSB will work with the intended party to discuss alternatives.

In lieu of cheques being sent in the mail, payment for services will be done by electronic fund transfer (EFT). If the client does not use EFT, cheques can be printed and picked up at the HRSB Central Office, 33 Spectacle Lake Drive.
