I am writing to share that I will be leaving the Halifax Regional Centre for Education as of Friday September 23, 2022. I have accepted a new challenge at Education and Early Childhood Development.
For 34 Septembers in a row, I have been part of the amazing team welcoming students back to school in our community. The last 10 as Superintendent/RED have been the most thrilling in my career. I do want to offer my sincerest thanks for your patience, encouragement, support and ongoing feedback.
HRCE is filled with a strong, dedicated staff who will continue to ensure your children’s success is their mandate.
Steve Gallagher will begin the role of Acting/RED on Monday, September 26. Information on the permanent posting will be shared when available.
