View Parent/Guardian Concern Protocol SEPTEMBER 2018 VOL. 1 Orange Shirt Day Summer Learning The work to prepare for graduation begins now... meet the members of the Auburn Drive High School Africentric Math Cohort Class of 2021! This summer, 24 students who enrolled in the Africentric Math Cohort (the first of its kind in Nova Scotia) began their journey. They took part in a number of activities to get to know one other, foster relationships with teachers and build momentum for the exciting year ahead. For the next three years, these students will complete academic-level Mathematics and Canadian History courses together through an Africentric lens. Courses are designed to reflect, honour and respect the cultural characteristics, lived-experiences and learning styles of each student in the class.
