Family Literacy Day (celebrated each year on January 27) is a day to raise awareness of the importance of reading together as a family. How do you building literacy activities into daily routines at home? Simple habits can have a lasting and far-reaching impact on your child’s life. Reading together promotes language development, builds self-confidence and sets the stage for lifelong learning. Many schools in HRCE took the opportunity to celebrate literacy for an entire week – and some for the entire month of January!
