Between September 2015 and June 2016, the HRSB Communications Team has created more than 100 original videos about the many great things happening in our schools. I sincerely thank all those who agreed to share their story of learning! These videos have been used in my reports, for professional learning and to help the public understand what happens in our classrooms and schools each and every day. I know it’s not always easy to get in front of a camera, but your willingness to promote awesome teaching and learning is appreciated. Stay tuned for even more in the next school year. Are you following our YouTube channel? You should! Champions of Public Education Congratulations to HRSB teachers Janice Graham- Migel (Ridgecliff Middle School) and Cameron DeBaie (Brookside Junior High School) who were recently recognized for their exceptional efforts to bring entrepreneurial and experiential learning in their respective schools through The Learning Partnership’s programs. They were honouread at The Halifax Champions of Public Education Tribute Luncheon on June 8.
