Celebrating Employee Milestones Long-serving HRSB employees were celebrated at a Milestone Reception at Central Office on May 18. Four employees were recognized for 40 years of service, including David Conley, David Moir, Gail Teixeira and Joanne Walsh. Six employees were recognized for 35 years of service, including Lois Burns, Margot Dietrich, Carol James, Karen Ann Kosendowski, Giselle LeBreton and Sherry Thistle. Many others received pins for 25 and 30 years of service. Thanks for all that you have done and continue to do for students. Gail Teixeira treated attendees with an impromptu musical performance that demonstrated that every employee plays an important role in making a system - or a song - work well. See the performance here. Dartmouth All-City Music Girls Choir Wins Gold Congratulations to the Cantatrice Ensemble Girls Honour Choir! The Choir received Gold at Musicfest Canada, a National Music Competition in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The choir, part of Dartmouth All-City Music, is conducted by HRSB music teachers Karen Newhook- MacDonald and accompanied by Pamela Burton. Bravo!
