2 February is African Heritage Month! The theme for 2018 is Educate, Unite, Celebrate Community. I look forward to celebrating and honouring our rich African Nova Scotian history this month, especially through the eyes of students. Reading with children is a great way to keep your own skills sharp, and at the same time, encourage lifelong learning as a family.
