We are writing to let you know that we are experiencing an issue with the text message (SMS) feature in PowerSchool’s SchoolMessenger. Right now, some families are not receiving text messages sent by HRCE. 

Text messages are used when there is a disruption to the typical operations of a school day (school closures, delayed openings and/or other urgent matters). Email and other functionalities are not impacted. 

While we work with PowerSchool to resolve the issue, we will use the phone message feature in addition to email and SMS to ensure all families receive urgent information directly.  

We’ll let you know when the SMS issue is resolved.
