Due to poor road conditions, the following Families of Schools are closed today, Monday, December 15, 2025: 
Bay View High 
Eastern Shore District High 
Marine Drive 
Musquodoboit Rural High

All other HRCE schools will be delayed in opening by two hours to allow for cleanup. 

This means: 
Bused students will be picked up two hours later than their regular time. 
Lunch and dismissal will be at regularly scheduled times. 
EXCEL programs are canceled for the morning only. 

Today's decision was based on the following information: 
A snowfall of 10-15 cm overnight, with no additional snow forecast for the day 
Roads, sidewalks and school grounds are still being cleared
